A heartfelt performance by Vanessa Johansson brings out the drama and romance in a small town. Haven Point police officer Wyn Bailey does more than chase moose out. Besides saving juveniles from a burning building and fighting crime, she battles her feelings for her boss--handsome Chief of Police Cade Emmett. Wyn's tough exterior is portrayed with a strong, confident voice, but her conflicted feelings about Cade come through in a voice that wavers slightly when she's around him. Johansson's deep tones highlight Cade's masculinity. She adjusts her pace to capture both Cade and Wyn's lingering attraction to each other, as well the whirlwind of thoughts and desire in each of them.
