The Hangman's Daughter

The hangman is a wealthy man, a renowned executioner favored by the king. Word has it his wife is beautiful, though she has no been seen outside his home in many years. His true prize, and the jewel of his life, is his grown daughter. She doesn't stray from his side, accompanying him on his grim business with a smile.
