寂静中召唤 (Call in the Silence)

本书侧重散文随笔进行筛选。从《点击新西部》选取了几篇，将两首诗歌揉进了散文，还将三篇小小说和四首歌词放入了"生活记忆"中。如此，这本书基本上就成了一个大杂烩，但其内核还是散文，还是随笔。这些文章，短的只有几个字，最长的也是由片断组成。这些文章，哪怕一人、一事、一物、一句话、一本书，包括部分诺贝尔奖获奖作家材料的苦心搜集和综合利用，都曾在作者心中泛起过涟漪或涌动过波浪。(This book is mainly a selection of prose and sketches, with a few chosen from Click on the New West, two poems mingled into the prose, three storiettes and four lyrics into the Life Memories. It is, in a word, a hybrid, despite the bulk of prose and sketches. Composed either of few word or a few lines, these articles, some of which written by Nobel award winners, are selected elaborately and consumed to full extent, for the character, the story, a line or a book has all once inspired the author.)
