《鸟的光阴》系统描写鸟类生活习性的人文随笔。作者津渡历时9年，足迹遍布浙北，反复深入华东地区最大的候鸟迁徙地，重点考察了100余种鸟类的形态、声音、习性，以及鸟类的迁徙、营巢、觅食和繁衍，以一种全新的方式全面展现了鸟类的生活环境、习性及现状。(Time of Birds is collection of cultural essays that systematically describe the living habits of birds.
