Jennifer, a time traveler displaced from the 20th century into the 12th century has finally had her dreams of a family and home come true. But her idyll is suddenly shattered by violence, and she must return to the world that she was happy to have left behind. Only this time her survival there depends on her being able to support and care for her new family.
Cainnech, a 12th century man of many accomplishments must return with Jennifer to her time – the 20th century. Now, his will to thrive and his innate need to provide for his family challenge him beyond his wildest dreams as he struggles to learn to exist in the fast, complex time.
Both Jennifer and Cainnech must face and conquer the external pressures of the modern world that threaten to tear their loving relationship apart.
