With little money and worse luck, "heart" friends Angelica, Lisa, and Claire soldier on as best they can in the village of Newton, South Wales. Until a friend hires them as detectives, leading to more profitable ventures. At first it's all a lark, as they stumble onto the truth. But flying blind is no way to run a business, and their friendship will be tested in ways none of them imagined.
