तहक़ीक़ात

The book deals with a search of a village person, Sooraj, who goes to town for his job. He suddenly disappears and does not return home even after a period of six months. On the other hand, a CBI officer is seen solving a chit fund case but is told to delay the case due to political pressure on the CBI director. The CBI officer then takes the case of Sooraj, when he gets a letter from Sooraj's daughter, and deals with it in an unofficial manner. Accompany the officer in his search for the disappeared person and how it links him to a totally new case.
