The book revolves around a person who knows his wife to be dead for almost an year. The person then finds his wife one day at the gate of his house. He does not accept the lady to be his wife and tries to find out the truth of the unknown lady, who claims to be his wife. The person comes across many incidents with the lady which makes the lady resemble his wife. The person is also accompanied by his friend while he tries to find out the truth.
